**The short version.** We collect what you type into our waitlist form, what you share when you buy or book, and what you send us by email. We use it to reply to you and to send what you asked for. We never sell it. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to [support@2-smt.com](mailto:support@2-smt.com).

## 1. Who we are

2-SMT is a brand of MecTech LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, USA. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean MecTech LLC. You can reach us at [support@2-smt.com](mailto:support@2-smt.com).

## 2. What we collect

- **Waitlist form.** Your email, your first name if you give it, where you are in your career, what you want help with if you tell us, your yes to the consent box, and the time you joined. That is all that goes on our list. Please do not put confidential work information in the form.
- **Free downloads.** No form or signup is required. If you accept analytics, we may count download clicks as described in section 10.
- **Purchases.** Stripe handles our payments. Stripe shares with us your name, email, the billing details its checkout page asks for, and what you bought. We never see your full card number.
- **Masterclass bookings.** Calendly handles bookings and sends your Google Meet link. Calendly shares with us your name, email, the time you pick and any answers you give.
- **Email.** If you write to us, we keep your message so we can reply.
- **Technical data.** Our web host, Netlify, uses your IP address to deliver pages. When you send the waitlist form, Netlify also records your IP address, your browser type and the page you sent it from, which helps it filter out spam. We do not copy this technical data into our list or any other tool, and we delete it as set out in section 5. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which also sees your IP address. We do not use ad trackers. Analytics are off unless you accept them (see the Analytics section below).

## 3. How we use it

- To reply to you and send what you asked for. If you joined the waitlist, that means news about openings and a useful lesson or status note about every two weeks.
- To deliver what you bought, including your masterclass session.
- To understand what people need, so we build the right training.
- To keep payment and tax records, and to keep the site safe from spam.

## 4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run 2-SMT: Netlify (hosting and form storage), Stripe (payments), Calendly and Google Meet (bookings and live sessions), and the email service we use to write to you. If you accept analytics, Google (Google Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Clarity) also process the measurement data described in the Analytics section.

When we move waitlist entries out of Netlify, into a private spreadsheet or later into an email service or customer records system, we copy only what you typed, the time you joined and your consent. We leave the technical data behind. A new tool is used for the same purposes, and we will name it on this page.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We may share it if the law requires us to.

Our site links to other services, such as LinkedIn and Substack. They have their own privacy policies.

## 5. How long we keep it

Waitlist entries stay until you ask us to remove you, or until we close the list. Netlify keeps each form entry, with its technical data, until we move the entry into our list. We then delete it from Netlify within 30 days. Purchase records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require. Emails stay as long as we need them to help you.

## 6. Your choices

- **Leave the waitlist** at any time. Email [support@2-smt.com](mailto:support@2-smt.com) with "remove me," or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
- **Ask for a copy** of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.

We act on removal requests within 10 business days. Depending on where you live, your local law may give you more rights. Write to us and we will help.

## 7. Age

This launch site, its learning materials and the waitlist are for people 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this site. If you think someone under 18 has joined, email us and we will delete it.

## 8. Keeping it safe

Only the people who run 2-SMT, and the providers listed above, can see your information. We use providers with strong security. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

## 9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you gave us with your consent, we will ask you again.

## 10. Analytics (optional)

We would like to measure how people use this site, so we can improve it. We do this with two tools, and **only if you accept**: Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). Until you press "Accept analytics", neither tool is loaded and nothing is sent to them. If you press "Refuse", or ignore the notice, they stay off, and the whole site still works, including the quiz.

- **What they measure.** Google Analytics counts page views, PDF download clicks, waitlist clicks, form submission attempts and confirmation-page arrivals following a submission, and quiz starts and completions (with the quiz name and a broad result band only). A checkout-link click may also be counted on pages with analytics. Microsoft Clarity records masked page interaction, such as clicks, scrolling and page layout, as heatmaps and session replays. Both may set cookies and use your IP address and device details. We send Google a cleaned page address: the page path, plus the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values of a campaign link if present, with other query parts and any anchor removed. The providers may also collect technical details themselves, as described in the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and [Microsoft Privacy Statement](https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).
- **What they do not get.** What you type into the waitlist form and your quiz answers are not sent as events, and those areas are masked from Clarity's session replay. We do not use these tools for advertising, and we turn off Google's advertising storage and advertising personalisation settings.
- **Your choice.** You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of our pages. The three order-confirmation pages (Field Manual, 5Ws Framework and Masterclass) do not load analytics at all. Choosing "Refuse" later stops our new analytics events, asks the loaded tools to stop collection, and clears analytics cookies we can reach. On the live site, withdrawing a previous acceptance also reloads open pages on this site to stop scripts that may still be loading; unsent form entries and quiz progress on those pages are cleared. Data already transmitted cannot be recalled by this button. Your choice is remembered in your browser under twoSmtConsent. With analytics accepted, a short-lived marker in your tab lets us count one waitlist confirmation; it contains no form details.
- **How long they keep data.** Our Google Analytics property retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. Its user-retention period resets on new activity; these limits do not apply to Google's aggregated standard reports. Clarity keeps ordinary recordings for 30 days; labeled or favorited sessions and heatmap data are retained for 9 months, as described in [Clarity's retention documentation](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/setup-and-installation/data-retention).
- **Separate from the waitlist.** Your analytics choice and the consent box on the waitlist form are two different things. One does not change the other.
