# Terms of Service

**The short version.** Our materials teach. They are not work procedures or certifications, so always follow your site's rules. Free material is free to share. Paid material is for the buyer. Questions: [support@2-smt.com](mailto:support@2-smt.com).

## 1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and MecTech LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company that runs the 2-SMT brand ("we," "us"). By using this site, joining the waitlist or buying from us, you agree to these terms.

## 2. Safety comes first

Everything we publish is for education. It is not a work instruction, a safety procedure, a service manual or a substitute for your employer's lockout/tagout, permit and PPE rules. Your site procedure, the tool maker's manual and a qualified person always come first. If anything here conflicts with your site procedure, your site procedure wins. You are responsible for what you do at work.

## 3. No certificate or job promise

Our materials and sessions are training. They are not a certification, a license, a qualification, a job placement or a promise about pay.

## 4. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist shows interest only. It does not book a seat, hold a price or guarantee a place. You must be 18+ to join. We contact you as our [Privacy Policy](https://2-smt.com/privacy/) describes, and you can leave at any time.

## 5. Purchases

- **Prices and payment.** Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- **Digital downloads.** The 5W's + 5 Senses Framework is delivered right after payment, so sales are final. If your file will not download or open, email us and we will send it again.
- **The masterclass.** After payment, you book a time on our booking page and meet our team live on Google Meet. Need to move your time? Use the link in your booking email at least 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours, email us and we will try to help. If we cancel and cannot offer you a new time, we refund you in full. A missed session without notice is not refunded.

## 6. Your license to our materials

- **The free Field Manual.** You may print it and share it with your crew or class. Please do not sell it, change it or present it as your own.
- **Paid materials**, including the 5W's workbook and the masterclass guide, are for the buyer's personal use. Please do not post them publicly, resell them, or use them to build a competing course or to train AI models.
- All 2-SMT materials are owned by MecTech LLC. You may quote a short passage with credit and a link.

## 7. Using this site

Please do not try to break into, overload or scrape the site. Do not submit anyone else's information, or anything unlawful, through our forms.

## 8. Other services

We use Stripe, Calendly, Google Meet and Netlify, and we link to sites like LinkedIn and Substack. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

## 9. No warranties, and limits

We provide the site and our materials as they are. We work hard to keep them accurate, but we do not promise they are complete or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or session involved.

## 10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived. If you have a problem, please email us first so we can try to fix it.

## 11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
